We had the honor of working with the family on their older son’s Bar Mitzvah a few years back. It was neat to see his personality shine through in the planning of his event. So we couldn’t wait to see what the family came up with for their younger son. This year it was Ben’s turn! Ben has a love of sports, so it was obvious what he would choose for the theme of his big day! Sports figures, games and giveaways filled the ballroom at the Renaissance International Plaza in Tampa. We had oversized cut-puts placed around of Ben’s favorite players and the centerpieces were customized by constructing mannequins with jerseys of all of Ben’s favorite sports teams. There was never a dull moment from the drone camera flyovers to the referee’s calling out different games. Another great incorporation for the kids is that we actually had bleachers brought in for seating instead of your traditional round tables. Since kids don’t sit still too long this was a great space saver and allowed us to bring in more fun things!
