Can I say amazing! Sarah and Braxton’s wedding was by far one of the most fun weddings to plan this Fall! Their elegant garden wedding took place at Davis Islands Garden Club back in October. The details were gorgeous. Zoe with Botanica Floral really made Sarah’s vision a reality. Sarah didn’t want the typical blush wedding, so we incorporated a hint of merlot into the floral. For the reception, the Bridal Party sat at a feasting table adorned with lanterns, candles and a romantic floral garland draped down the center. We also used a mix of square and round guest tables. For the decor, we kept with the same color palate as the personal florals but added texture and alternating designs to the tables. Josh Walther and the Phase 5 Band kept the party going all night and a great time was had by all! Thank you Lauren with Lauren Pauline Photography for capturing their wedding day! There were so many great pictures it was hard to choose what to highlight!
Barbara and Joe were so sweet! When we initially started planning, Barbara was nervous and didn’t know where to start. At our first meeting, we sat down and started putting the pieces together. From there on, we brought their dream wedding vision to reality. Barbara wanted to incorporate both Deep Red and Purple, which is a pretty vibrant color combination, (which I love when brides pick bold colors to work with!) Instead of just using neutral tone linens we brought in a deep red and kept the floral in the more blush and light creams. One of my favorite additions to the party was adding a percussion player alongside the DJ. That added a “live” music feel without the larger expense of a full sized band. Another special touch was the Dove Release at the end of the ceremony which symbolizes true love!
Thank you Life Long Studios and Allure Cinema for capturing their beautiful day!
Jen and Blake were married on a gorgeous October day at Davis Islands Garden Club in Tampa, Florida. I had been working with Jen and her family for over a year planning the big day. It was so nice to see everything come together! My favorite detail was the hint of succulents in the invitations to the centerpieces and accents on the wedding cake. It was a beautiful garden wedding! Everything looked amazing and was just what she had envisioned. Kuddos to Marissa Moss Photography for capturing the details!
Sarah and Erin tied the knot back in May at Davis Islands Garden Club in Tampa, Florida. Can I say, it was such a great wedding and I was sad to see it come to an end! From the start, Sarah and Erin had a vision of having a fun wedding. She also had a particular look in mind too! She chose a color palate of navy, white fuchsia with an accent of gold. The girls wore cute tea length Alfred Angelo dresses and carried bouquets of hot pink roses that popped against their dresses. And sequins! were important too:) We adorned the cake and sweetheart tables with navy sequined linens from Kate Ryan linens for a little glam. There were so many other fun elements that made the wedding a hit amongst the guests: from the delectable food served by Good Food Catering to the Florida Mountain Boys. They were only going to play the cocktail reception, but ended up entertaining guests the entire evening. At the end, guests bid their best wishes to them as they boarded the water taxi and the evening came to a sweet end! Thank you to Andy Martin Photography for capturing Sarah and Erin’s special day!
This past July we had the pleasure of coordinating Emily and Gardner’s Davis Islands Garden Club wedding. Their wedding and reception was very personal to them- a fun and laid back wedding reception. Emily’s mother made all the table runners and overlays as well as created all the floral centerpieces and bouquets!
Take a look at the photos we received from Jason Mize Photography!
A special thanks to all the vendors involved in this wedding….
Back in March, Simply Divine Events had the pleasure of coordinating Beth and Doug’s garden wedding at the Davis Islands Garden Club. I had so much fun planning their special day with them! Early on Beth and Doug decided that they wanted an all outdoor wedding and reception, and what better venue to have it at than the Garden Club. It was a fun laid back party with their dearest friends and family. They chose a color palette of light blue, white and chocolate brown. Beth had a lot of great little details. MMD Events designed the lighting and florals to compliment their colors. Puff’ n Stuff Catering designed a menu that incorporated a little bit of Northern and Southern specialties including a antipasto display and a cobbler bar for dessert. On the sweetheart table, her bouquet was placed in a pitcher that was painted at a bridal party outing. The favors, cigars and cocktail napkins carried out the palm tree embellishment found on the invitations and other stationery. Another special touch was that instead of having a traditional bridal party, they had all their nieces and nephews parade down the aisle with pinwheels, streamers and garland. Many thanks to all the vendors that collaborated on the event!
Congratulations to Jackie and Nick! They were married at Davis Islands Garden Club back in April. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception overlooking Harbour Island. Jackie chose a beautiful spring color pallatte of melon and crisp white for the wedding. How did she come up with this, one might ask? Well it was actually to pay tribute to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers “throwback” orange. Jackie and Nick are avid Bucs fans and this was a great subtle way to tie in their favorite sports team! They also named their guest tables after their favorite players. Many thanks to the vendors involved including Jason Angelini for the great pictures!!!
Back in April, Simply Divine Events had the pleasure of coordinating Nicole and Colby’s Wedding at Davis Islands Garden Club in Tampa. It was such a fun wedding with a lot of great personal touches! For the wedding everyone pitched in, everything from Colby’s mom making the floral and the rest of the decorations, to her friend’s restaurant providing the delicious BBQ. For Nikki and Colby, what was important was for everyone to have a good time and that they did!
Thanks to all the vendors that made Nikki and Colby’s wedding a night to remember!
